GBI warns of cyber vulnerabilities

AUGUSTA (WFXG) – Being a cyber victim and not even knowing it can be one of the scariest scenarios for anyone who uses technology. But organizations like the Georgia Bureau of Investigation often find themselves playing catch up whenever they get involved with a case with elite hackers.

“It has nothing to do with your intelligence,” said Sara Lue, a special agent for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. “It has everything to do with how savvy and cruel these bad actors are.”
