AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) — On the corner of the street, looking across to the new Cyber Center building, Steven Foster stands in admiration.
“Oh, it’s beautiful. It’s fantastic,” he says.
Steven Foster taking it all in; he’s the Special Agent in charge of a cyber team coming to Augusta.
“We’re actually starting a brand new unit with brand new people. We’ll have an investigative side which will be me and two agents, to begin with, and a forensic side which will be four forensic examiners.”
GBI calls this team the Georgia Cybercrime Unit, Foster says they are forming it out of need.
