The mission of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences is to provide high-engagement, state-of-the-art technology education and research across its computer science, information technology and cybersecurity disciplines. Our academic programs have been recognized nationally as the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences is a designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, a designation sponsored by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Juniors and seniors in the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences have the privilege of taking courses in the Georgia Cyber Center, where they have the opportunity to work alongside industry and government professionals here in the Georgia Cyber Center.
